A healthy snack for your sweet tooth

Okay, so here is my GF snack for the day! Mmm-mmm good!

It’s just a couple spoonfuls of non-fat, plain, Greek yogurt with 1 tbsp of blackberry jam on top, sprinkled with slivered almonds!

The jam gave it the perfect sweetness, and the almonds gave it that perfect crunch!

I loved this snack so much. Totally hit the spot πŸ˜‰

Okay, so far this whole gluten-free thing is going good! Even as I type this post, my awesome Dad is cutting up tons of veggies and tofu to put on the grill for dinner tonight. Totally gluten-free, healthy, and delicious! Pictures to come later! πŸ™‚

    I have a giant tub of Greek Yogurt in my fridge almost all the time. I don’t know why it’s never occurred to me to top it with jam, but I’m so happy I read this. My breakfast will be more interesting tomorrow =)

    • Yay! You’ll have to let me know how it goes! I honestly think I thought about it because my cousin made the jam from scratch and I wanted to try it on more than just toast! It was SO good! I am so curious to know how other people like it too! I wonder what peanut butter and jelly mixed in would be like… πŸ˜‰
