Back to my old way of bloggin’! :)

Good afternoon everyone! Okay, so today I have been so good about taking pictures! I’ve snapped a shot of every single thing that I’ve eaten! Now I remember why my blog used to be so fun- this is fun! 🙂

So this morning, I woke up to a nice cup of Starbucks coffee in the comfort of my own home. I love this blend because it’s strong- just the way I like it! In other words… breakfast blend is WEAK! 😉

To add to my Coffee- Pumpkin Pie Spice! Now, as you all usually know, I don’t use coffee creamer. I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk with agave to sweeten. Well, during the holidays, since I wont be eating many sweets as they have gluten, I am instead treating myself with yummy creamers! I feel like I deserve it 😉

For breakfast, I had 2 eggs, one white, and a piece of gluten-free toast with jelly

I got this organic jelly from TJ’s, and love it! I reallllly want to get an orange marmalade flavor too… I don’t know when it started, but I love orange jellies now! I used to HATE them. Yes, H.A.T.E. – with alllll capitals!

To take to school, I packed a omega-3 gluten free trail mix from TJ’s (love these!), a detour bar, and a ThinkThin bar (<–which I didn’t end up eating)

In my water bottle, I always put a little spoonful of “Super Green Powder.” Now, it doesn’t have the most amazing flavor, but it’s not bad, and I feel healthy drinking it. It’s something I got used to super quick. Also, when you put “food” in your water, it hydrates you better! If you don’t want to use this, use something like lemon or a splash of apple juice! That’s “food” too 🙂

Here’s my little set up in Anatomy lab this morning. Me and the girls got SO MUCH studying done! I feel sooo accomplished! Isn’t that the best feeling?!

At about 9:30, 3 hours after I had my breakfast, I got hungry again, so I snacked on this gluten free Detour protein bar. These are yummy, and my Momma bought a box so I’m eating them.. the only thing I don’t like is the millions of ingredients… that’s why LARA’s are my favorite… one thing I love about these bars is that they taste like a candy bar, but don’t have sugar! My friend Mischa who was sitting next to me said the same thing!

About an hour later, when lab got out, I pulled out my nuts. I wanted a little somethin’ to much on.

This is my one armed boyfriend. Did I tell you all? Kurt and I have been official almost a month and he is absolutely amazing! He is my best friend- we pretty much do everything together now because we have such a great time 🙂

Oh, and about having one arm… he got surgery on his wrist so his other arm is in a sling. Haha, I had to take a picture to show you all because it looks like he’s actually missin’ a limb!

When I got to my second class of the day, after our hour break, my friend Wendy brought me Coffee Bean! Small Winter Dream Tea Latte- I need nothing else! It literally is like Christmas in a cup! Also, just a tip if you want to hold off on some calories, you can ask for NSA powder, or even just half the regular powder. Either way is super yummy!

After class, I went to the gym, and had some ME time! That’s one thing I love about the gym. It totally gives you time to take your mind off everything else (even though life is good!) and just listen to your music, workout, and relax! (Yes, the gym is relaxing to me… not that I’m lazy when I am there, I just think of it as a break from daily duties)

More to come soon! But for now, I’m going to help Daddy-O with some Christmas lights 🙂

  1. Oh that creamer sounds delicious. I think there’s room in everyone’s diet for something that they really like like that. I gave up cream for a while but then realized I was feeling deprived and it wasn’t worth it! Be grateful you can buy that flavor–why do groceries in Canada suck so much? Good thing I live an hour from Target and have an ice chest…this will fit in between mass quantities of Greek yogurt!

    • Haha! I love this comment! “Mass quantities of Greek Yogurt!” Canada doesn’t have Greek Yogurt?! That’s crazy! How do you survive!? Thank you for this comment though- I agree, we all deserve a little somethin that we enjoy 🙂
