Easy way to make Indian food from Trader Joes!

Good evening everyone πŸ™‚ I hope you have all had a good day! Today has been really good. Even though I am pretty tired from three babysitting jobs from 9:30-6:30, my heart is full!

First of all, I must start by showing you what Harper and I built. It was identical to the box! Go us! πŸ˜‰

After watching little Harper, I went over to Chloes house to watch her for the afternoon. I was super hungry, so I made this Oatmeal. A few seconds after I made it, Chloe asked “Can IIIIIII have some Oatmeal toooo Paige? *makes cute face*” Oh gosh… of course!

Hehe, look at that face! I split my oatmeal with her πŸ™‚ It was sooo good because I put a few white chocolate chips on top, and when they mixed in… you can only imagine.. when it melted, it was amazing!

When I was done with Chloe, I ran home, grabbed a plum, and went over to Griff’s house. I cleaned, organized his backpack, got him ready to go, and all that good stuff. Then I took him to his Dads house. I love that little boy. We have been having so much fun lately- like I said before, he is just full of enthusiasm, and I see so much good in him.

After that, I went to Barnes & Nobles to buy a book for my friend. This book blessed me big time, and I want to share it with others (especially others who are in the same boat as me relating to school!) It’s called “If you have to cry, go outside.” My friend shared it with me, and now I want to share it. It’s crazy inspiring once you get into it. It just makes you want to go out an conquer the world YOUR way!

Then, I went to Trader Joes! Next comes dinner…

While making dinner, it took about 45 minutes, I snacked on a small green apple. I was pretty hungry, and I didn’t want to be TOO hungry when I ate. Having a little something already in my stomach helps me to feel satisfied sooner, rather than being starving right when I sit down, and then wanting more after.

I made dinner for myself and my Daddio. We had indian food! So yummy! Don’t think I made this from scrath… oh no no! Even though I would like to learn..

In the oven, I cooked Garlic Naan Bread and…

Palak Paneer, which is spinach and paneer cheese seasoned with a bit of curry and chili- just like it says on the box. It’s delicious, and my dad and I split it! (My portion is shown in the picture).

I bought a few different precooked things tonight, because I want to try some new stuff, and then later learn how to make these things from scratch. For now, I just want to try as many different flavors as I can πŸ™‚

My before and after picture!

I’ve never looked at my old picture next to a new one! Wow! I feel soo proud & happy!

This is where months of eating right and working out got me, and where years of commitment has kept me. I honestly can’t believe this…

Put away that darn scale!

Good morning loves! It’s time for a quick post in between babysitting jobs!

Last night, I had 2 plums before bed (just so you know…hehe)

This morning, I woke up and had this protein drink that had-

-coffee

-2 scoops Aria womens protein (vanilla)

-1 small banana

-1 tbsp. peanut butter

-unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

For lunch, I had my left over mexican food from last night. Why do leftovers always taste so good?!

I’m posting this picture because I feel so good, and so proud of myself today! And yes, it’s okay, better yet, it’sΒ greatΒ to feel proud of yourself!

I have been having trouble lately with accepting my weight, because the number has gone up a few lbs. Well, let me just tell you, it is 100% due to muscle gain, because I have been doing tons of weight exercise, which I never ever do. Also, everything I own still fits me exactly the same! So who am I kidding?

I put my scale away on Sunday, and told myself that I am way better than that number, and I deserve nothing more than to feel good about how I’ve been eating and exercising. Well, let me just tell you, the second I put it away, I felt like I lost 10lbs!

I have felt so much happier, so much healthier, so much more proud, and soo much more willing to exercise and eat healthy since I put it away. Let’s just say, it was the right decision for me (so much pressure is off)!

I encourage any of you girls, who are having trouble with seeing that number, put the scale away, and start accepting yourself, and being proud of yourself EVERY SINGLE day of your life. It is NOT worth ever beating yourself up over.

Love to each and EVERY one of you beautiful people! Have a good day, and be NICE to yourself πŸ™‚

Mexican food and baby Bella, what could be better?

After hanging out with Kurt, I met up with my parents and we went to dinner. Mexican food tonight! Yes! I was totally craving it. I had a few of these chips with salsa, and then..

A Chile Verde tostada with a side of beans instead of rice. So good! I ate half of my plate, and am saving the rest for tomorrow. Just think, how excited am I going to be tomorrow when I get to eat Mexican food, again?! Haha πŸ™‚

After dinner, we picked up my baby cousin, Bella, because I’m babysitting her tonight! Ah, I love it when she hangs with me. Look how cute she is!

Precious, perfect, amazing, blessing, too many words to describe her! Littlest love of my life!

Bike ride with the boyfriend made my day :)

Good evening! Okay, so tumblr decided to finally start working for me πŸ˜‰

I wanted to post a pictures of my proud organization from this morning! See my vision board? All the pictures of girls are just outfits that I like πŸ™‚

All my bookaroos. This is where I usually sit in the morning with my coffee and a cozy blanket and my favorite book. I think everyone deserves to spend the first part of there day just for them πŸ™‚

And this is where the blogging happens! My desk πŸ™‚

I filled out my littleΒ whiteΒ pink board on my mirror so I can keep track of the workouts that I do each day. Like today, I did the P90X Ab ripper. Tomorrow I am going to a body works gym class: I like to keep it interesting!

As a snack around 2ish, I had cottage cheese with berries, walnuts, and coconut. Mmm, yummy combo!

After I ate my snack, I worked for a little while, took Griffin to get new school stuff, picked up his basketball gear, and dropped him off at practice. That boy- I am a lucky nanny. I love the days where he just talks about everything that he’s excited about. He’s got such enthusiasm!

Now after that comes aΒ greatΒ part of my day! I drove out to Camarillo and hungout with Kurt before he went off to work. We watched a movie, hungout, laughed our butts off, and then went for a bike ride to Starbucks to get Green Tea Fraps (well, I rode a bike, he skateboarded). It was honestly so much fun. My favorite part was riding in front of him and looking back to see that big smile on his face πŸ™‚

And here is the picture of my Green Tea as I was driving home and almost finished! Haha, at least I remembered at some point, right!?

My first time doing P90X

Hey guys! How is everyone doing today?

This morning, I woke up in a cleaning mood. I went downstairs, got my coffee, and went right back upstairs to start cleaning my room. With all the business and activity, I didn’t have much of an appetite. I had this protein drink for breakfast. I’m literally now craving these. They’re so creamy and good! Who else can agree on that one?

In my drink-

-Aria Women’s Vanilla Protein Powder (2 scoops)

-Peanut Butter flavored coffee (so good with coffee!)

-Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

-1 small banana

After my shake, I cleaned a while longer, then did a 20 minute AB workout with P90X. I loved that workout! Felt great, and it was my first time. I can see this workout getting a little bit repetitive, but that’s why I’m going to mix it up with walking, different videos, the gym, and workout classes. It’ll keep things interesting! I am going to try all of them, and I will write what I think about each one.

After the workout I drank a big glass of water, & had some celery and sunflower seed butter

This is the sunflower seed butter that I buy!

After that, I cut up a little orange like this! I ate it in two bites. I know it’s a silly way to cut an orange, but it made is so juicy and good! I think I discovered something new πŸ˜‰

I haven’t had much of an appetite today, and I’m supposed to be going to Sushi at some point in the near future, so I’m not worried about eating more than I have at this point.

I’ll be back to post more later! Hopefully I’ll be posting Sushi with Green Tea ice cream to follow! πŸ™‚
