Good morning everyone! How are you guys doing?! Still recovering from the Super Bowl?
The best thing you can do is get yourself out of bed, and go workout! Even if it’s just for a walk. Making your body move first thing in the morning is a great kick starter for your metabolism. And who doesn’t love a fast metabolism?!
This morning I woke up 35 minutes earlier than I normally would, and I went for a 35 minute walk for my Booty Call workout (from Tone It Up). It was so beautiful out, and I was walkin’ with my cup of coffee with 1/2 packet of Stevia and a splash of Almond Milk. Anyone who knows me, knows that I was a happy girl! I am openly in love with coffee! 😉
After that, I sat down and planned out my day of eating, wrote down my goals, and made my Slim Down Scramble.
Egg whites and veggies! Great way to start the day!
After breakfast, I went to the gym with my Dad and did a Step Class. It was so much fun! I love love love these classes. I love the people, the music, the workout, the feeling during, and the soreness after! I always push myself because I know it’s MY WORKOUT and no one else’s. If I want to make it work, I gotta push (and have fun at the same time!)
When I came home, I first did all the dishes, and then cut up this beautiful grapefruit.
I didn’t want to have a snack in a messy kitchen. Oh no no. Dishes first. Much more enjoyable in a clean kitchen 🙂
Just an FYI, in case you guys didn’t know (because I didn’t), when you’re picking a grapefruit, you want to pick one with smooth skin, and a heavy weight. This means that they are full of juice and flavor! This was probably one of the first times I have liked grapefruit! It was yummy 🙂
I cut & peeled it, and sprinkled stevia all over. Just half a packet 🙂
Now, I am off to get ready for my day! Then, I’m going to get to preparing lunch! I have chicken to cook! 🙂
