Good afternoon everyone! Okay, so it’s still day 1 of my 7 Day Slim Down Challenge from Tone It Up!
So far, I have posted Meal 1 (scramble) & Meal 2 (grapefruit)
Now this is Meal 3!
Salad with Arugula, Spring Mix, Red/Green Bell Peppers, and 4oz of Chicken that I seasoned in 21 seasoning salute (like Mrs. Dash), ceyenne, garlic powder, and a little bit of rosemary. It was delicious!
The funny thing, is that I NEVER cook meat! This was only, MAYBE, the 3rd time I’ve made Chicken myself. It was soo good! I’m very proud :)! My boyfriend always teases me because “a meal is not a meal without meat.” (I don’t believe it… hehe).
Well, I guess now being part of Tone It Up, I will be cooking much more meat because protein is a big part of the plan!
I also had a pear, all sliced up and pretty on the side 🙂
I can tell my metabolism is workin’ hard today, because I am getting hungry every couple of hours! But, you know what? I’m drinking my water, I’m eating healthy, I worked out… I am not bummed that I feel a little bit more hungry than normal, because I am doing something great for my body.
At the end of this week, I am going to feel so proud, like I really achieved something. This 7 days is going to motivate me really well to start the Tone It Up maintenance plan. PLUS, who doesn’t want to look their best for Valentines Day? Common girls 🙂
You are doing great so far! Love the pictures 🙂 They’re all fancy and cute and such ❤
Thank you so much! I really enjoy taking pictures 🙂
I bought kale but not sure how to make it other then blended in a smoothie. How do you cook it!
OH KALE! You can steam it like Spinach in a pan with 1/4 cup of water with Butternut Squash and its sooo yummy 🙂 Add fresh Garlic to the pan too! ❤ Let me know if you try this! It's probably my favorite Kale recipe.
Yum! This sounds sooo good!
I put it in a pan, covered, with a little bit of water! Literally, just a splash or two. See the other recipe idea comment- YUM!
I’d saute the Squash (cubed) and Garlic in Olive Oil first, then when you think it’s ready toss in the Kale with Water & Cover 🙂 Have with palm-sized piece of Chicken, Tofu, Tempeh (see http://www.toneitup.com) or Fish and an endless amount of GREEN veggies 🙂 I’ve had it with Salmon & Chicken, both are yum!
Yummmm! My mouth is watering!!!!
