Happy Valentines Day everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day! I know I did 🙂
This morning, I woke up, had my coffee, and took off the gym for a BodyWorks Class. It was so great, and I feel a little sore 🙂
When I came home, my sweet Mama had breakfast waiting for me. Look how cute! She cut my toast into a heart shape! This is one egg, one piece of ezekiel bread, and some home-made jelly from her friend Dottie!
So, as you all know from yesterdays post, my Dad is redoing some stuff in the house. I thought this was soo cute! He painted this on the wall today for my Mom! “I love you with all my art.” Haha, he is awesome, and such a goofball
While I was in the shower, a delivery man came from Proflowers and dropped 18 red roses at my door. They were waiting in my room when I got out, with a very special card attached 🙂 Thank you Kurt! I know you’re reading this! He had this planned weeks ago! That made me feel special 🙂
At noon, he picked me up, and we went to Carpenteria to spend the afternoon. I’m so happy we still got to spend the day together, because we had such a blast!
We got lunch at Zookers Cafe. It was amazing! Look at this Coffee cup. I love how different it is!
Chicken sandwich with lots of yummies inside for him,
Rosemary potato wedges to share,
and half a portobello mushroom sandwich for me. I had a few chips too! The other half of the sandwich was my dinner tonight 🙂
After lunch, we went downtown to Robitailles Candy store!
I grew up going to this candy store, and Kurt had never been! I had to take him 🙂
We spent lots of money on candy! Haha, we got this Peanut Butter fudge to share! It. was. so. good. It literally melts in your mouth! Ahhh so good. We each had a few little bites. It’s so sweet that you only need a little.
Look how pretty the drive home was! The water was sooo blue today!
When we got back to Ventura, we went to Coffee Bean for their V-Day special while we were waiting for Griffin to get out of school. Buy one get one free!
I got a passion tea latte (if you like fruity, creamy tea- get this). My friend Aubrey introduced me to it Sunday! Kurt got a white chocolate mocha… I think?! Well, that’s what it tasted like anyways. I got a couple sips in 😉
Here is the inside of our candy box. The left four are mine, the right three are his. I got my parents a couple too 🙂
Look how cute! I just wanted this for the picture (and it’s delicious)! I loved how cute the little heart on top was! I’ll be working on these candies tonight 😉
Here is Kurt and I laughing on the floor, as we were pretending to be in our “Sugar Coma’s.” Haha, we were trying to be serious at first, and then my Mom was struggling to take the picture, so we started cracking up!
Now I am babysitting, and enjoying the rest of my evening. Kurt is at school, poor guy. I told him to skip and come babysit with me (it’s his friends children), but he’s a dedicated smarty. So, for the rest of the night, it’s just me, a good movie, and my four chocolates once these kido’s go to bed. Oh, and some skyping with Kayla! Can you say Happy Valentines Day? 🙂
I wish you all the best night! Oh, and if anyone saw the Vow, you must let me know how it was!
